2 Samuel
Tuesday Morning Class
This 26-lesson study through 2 Samuel traces David’s journey from rising king to aging ruler, revealing both the triumphs of faith and the tragedies of sin. Beginning with an introduction to the book’s background and themes, the class follows David’s story as he unites Israel, establishes Jerusalem as the nation’s center of worship, receives God’s covenant promise, and later faces moral failure, family rebellion, and national crisis. Through every chapter, we see God’s unwavering faithfulness contrasted with human weakness. The study closes by connecting God’s covenant with David to the coming of Christ, showing how 2 Samuel points to the everlasting kingdom of God’s true King
The class meets every Tuesday morning in the Cornerstone Office Conference Room -- across from the main building (5041 Wilmington Pike)
